Stellenbosch Petite Sirah 2022

Despite the “petite” in the name, there is nothing small about Petite Sirah. This grape varietal (also referred to as Durif) is rare in South Africa and is known for its intense dark purple colour and luscious flavours of plums, berries, chocolate and black pepper. The Stark-Condé Petite Sirah is from a small, half-hectare vineyard block on the Jonkershoek Valley estate. The combination of excellent acidity and robust tannins makes for great maturation potential. Organically farmed.
